Amen!

The Moth can trace its origins to nights on Wanda Bullard’s porch where she and her friends (including our founder George Dawes Green) would drink bourbon and tell stories into the night.

When George moved to New York and got this whole big crazy storytelling thing started, he made sure to invite Wanda to tell one of her amazing stories.

What’s the story of The Moth? George Dawes Green spoke with THINKR about our origins.

Look at these baby pics! The Moth’s first show, in George Dawes Green’s living room, June 7th, 1997.
